The study and practice of drawing the human figure engages some of the most unique and fundamental qualities of our shared human experience.
Currently I am exploring the boundaries between observation, perception, memory and imagination, specifically as this relates to the narrative potential of the human figure and portrait, the ability of gesture, line and tone to tell a story that is uniquely human.
