PAINTINGS
Though I am currently working on a body of paintings that draw from imagination and the unconscious, these paintings below are examples of my work from direct observation— an ongoing love of mine.
The last three figure paintings are in “open-grisaille” (a burnt umber underpainting that uses the white of the canvas), and were demonstrations that I did while teaching figure drawing and painting at the Grand Central Atelier, in New York City.
